About JsonMinty
A focused workspace for readable JSON and practical CSV. JsonMinty is an independent browser utility built to help you inspect data without creating an account.
Why it exists
Formatting data should not require a maze of unrelated tools. JsonMinty combines JSON formatting, validation, minification, tree inspection, CSV cleaning and conversion in one workspace. The design gives the data itself the most room.
How it works
The website is static. A background Web Worker on your device parses and transforms text. The web server delivers HTML, CSS and JavaScript; it does not receive your selected file or offer an upload API. You can inspect the result before copying or downloading it.
Careful by default
JSON numeric tokens keep their original digits, including very large IDs and decimal values. Duplicate object keys remain visible and trigger a warning. CSV cells stay strings when converted to JSON. Formula protection is on for CSV exports and can be disabled when exact values are needed.
Scope and limitations
Input is limited to 10 MB, JSON nesting to 128 levels and JSON nodes to 200,000. Tree previews show up to 1,500 nodes; CSV previews show up to 501 rows and 100 columns with 50 rows per page. Downloads include the full successful result. This is a syntax validator, not a JSON Schema validator. Comments, trailing commas and JSON5 are not accepted.
Languages and feedback
The workspace, instructions and FAQ are provided in 62 language and regional variants. Translations have not all been independently reviewed by native speakers. Detailed policies are available in English and Korean. If a translation is unclear, use the language menu to compare it with English.
Keeping it available
The service may be supported by clearly labeled Google advertising. Ads do not unlock features, and no click or account is required to use the tools. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a specific workflow.
